Àbájade is movement, collective joy and the fervor of transe - 8 musicians deploying the whole scope of a mystic groove born between the streets of La Havana, the clubs of Paris and impregnated with influences from New York. Driven by the irresistible energy of its three voices, the band is a modern experience of rite and celebration.

In barely two years of existence and through this pandemy, Àbájade performed dozens of gigs in Paris and Provence, recorded its first EP and went twice to Cuba for deep immersions in the afrocuban culture of La Havana.

​

Fed with the music of Osain del Monte, D'Angelo, Fela Kuti or Kneebody, los abajaderos polished their new repertoire during summer 2021 and are back on stage. It's said they're about to record a new EP in april 2022... Stay tuned !
